Welcome to the Journey ~ Life with Sheila

I was a former blogger a few years ago, and have been on hiatus for a while trying to decide if I wanted to continue. In the meantime, I changed my channel name on YouTube and it just felt right to start fresh with a new blog under the same name.

For those who are new, I am Sheila. I have been married to my husband for 25 years  and we have a 21 year old daughter and twin sons who are 18 . We are almost empty nesters! Those years flew by so you young mama's should embrace your little ones and enjoy the time with them! We both have lived in Texas our whole life with the exception of two years I spent as a child in New Mexico. 

On this blog I will share many things with you, sometime a bit more in detail than what you would find in a video. What most people do not understand is that in a video you get a tiny glimpse of my life, as if I would share all that I wanted to with you it would take hours and who has hours to watch a video? LOL

So from this point forward when I share a recipe on a video, you will get a link that brings you right back here for a full blog post on it as well. There are times I will share a recipe here on the blog that will not make it to a video because let's face it, I cook a lot and my YouTube channel isn't solely a cooking channel, but if it is shown or added to a meal plan I will make sure to leave a link back to here as well.
